Ski Mt Washington or hike the parks. A 35 minute drive to the ski lifts in the winter or alpine hikes in the summer.

Storm watch in the winter after a day of skiing or explore the multitude of hikes, parks and activities of the beautiful North Island.

Getting Here:

Vancouver: BC Ferries from Tsawwassen to Duke Point and from Horseshoe Bay to Departure Bay leave almost every hour from the mainland and arrive to Nanaimo. Check their schedule and make a reservation before you go! Approx. 3 hrs. driving and sailing time plus wait time

Nanaimo: From Nanaimo head north on the inland highway until Hamm Rd. A few more turns and you have arrived. Approx. 1.5 hrs.

Victoria: From Victoria head north on the inland highway until Hamm Rd. A few more turns and you have arrived! Approx. 3hrs

Washington: Cross at the Peace Arch and follow the Vancouver Directions or take the Scenic Black Ball Ferry from Port Angeles and drive up Island from Victoria. Approx. 5 to 7hrs plus ferry wait time.
